Western Australia’s Innovation Centre (ICWA), located at Technology Park Bentley, works with the State’s creative minds to provide support and guidance on how to turn their ideas into reality.
ICWA provides quality services to eligible innovators as they progress through their innovation journey. The AMC Jakovich Centre proudly supports ICWA and often holds events and seminars for our up and coming innovators. Commercialisation advice and innovation mentoring are just a couple of the services that are provided by ICWA.
Commercialisation Advice is provided in the form of one-on-one advisory sessions with advisors. The advisor is matched to innovators based on the specific needs and progress stage of the project. There are multiple ways in which these sessions can be held, either face-to-face, over the phone, or online. They generally take 60 to 90 minutes, and are provided free of charge by experienced advisors.
Mentoring is available for innovators who have made significant progress and demonstrate that they have the potential to create a viable innovation focused business. The mentoring sessions are ongoing in order to monitor and ensure and assist with continuous progress.
The Innovation Centre of WA aims to:
- Provide infrastructure and services to support emerging innovative enterprises.
- Bridge the gap between the development and commercialisation of ideas into viable and sustainable enterprises and products.
- Assist existing businesses to identify commercialisation opportunities.
